AAARRGGH!!

夏に日本へ行きたいです、けど。。。

2 weeks in Japan, but can I afford it? :/

I counted the "cheapest possible" way of travelling and the "most expensive" possible way. As far as I understand I've got a place to stay so I won't have to worry about that :o

Most expensive possible (in euros):
60,20 - Travelling by train in Finland
321,745 (about) - JR Pass (for travelling in Japan)
960,00 - Airplane tickets
140,00 - 10 euros for food each day :P
200,00 - Concert tickets (I want to go to two and reserved 100e for each. There's no way I'll go to Japan but not go to a H!P concert! I HAVE TO SEE NACCHI!! Nothing else matters)
618,48 - Rent for apartment in Finland for the 4 months of summer. I've always prepared to pay for it. Now I'm hoping to get my parents to pay some of it for the summer so I won't have to worry about it ;_;
2300,425 TOTAL

2300!! THAT'S INSANE.

The cheapest possible (if my parents pay for rent and I only need a one-way train ticket in Finland):
30,10 - One-way train ticket
321,745 - JR Pass
960,00 - Airplane tickets
140,00 - for food
200,00 - Concert tickets
1651,845 TOTAL

Now, I currently have 1679,95 euros on my account so in theory I could afford the cheapest possible option. However, I still need to eat when I start studying again in Finland, too... AND I have no idea if my parents will approve of the rent or even the trip at all. I'm so scared to ask them for help, I think my dad might call me stupid for wanting to do this.

But I know that even just planning this has made me feel alive again - finally I'm EXCITED about something!! I think if I can't go to Japan this summer, if I can't experience H!P live this summer... I'll die inside. Slowly but surely. I'm just not happy with my life or myself and I need something LIFE CHANGING to happen. I can't have that here. I need some kind of proof that it's possible for amazing things to happen to ME as well, even me, the biggest loser ever... And going to Japan, going to a H!P concert would definitely do that. I don't have faith in many of my dreams coming true (like finding love), but something like seeing H!P... With Universus's help and some money, I could do it!
